Like most writers I know, I have ideas scattered everywhere. Scrawled in notebooks I used one time. Evernote. Google Keep. Random documents. QuickMemo. Emails and chats and texts. I've always wanted something that not quite a notes system and not quite a spreadsheet to act as a central repository.

So I did what I always do with my projects, I decided to couple a need I have with some stuff I want to learn, and built the tool I wished existed. Story Seeds is specifically built for writers, with feedback from writers I know to help it meet a variety of needs:

Tag ideas and mark them by genre.
Rate ideas by your passion for them.
Filter and sort ideas on a dashboard to view them in different ways.
Mark "tidbits," or small one-line objects: a character, an item, a location, etc.
