Bit by Bit is the odd man out of these projects, in that it's borne more out of my ADHD brain struggle with tasks than it is my writer brain struggling with an interface need. (Though in truth: it's all pretty heavily impacted by ADHD brain.)
I have a hard time parsing a big project. It makes deadlines hard, and large writing projects feel insurmountable. I've toyed with a dozen different "this is how you write a novel" methods and spreadsheets, but ultimately, they all feel too big. The concept is fine — it's the presentation that stops me in my tracks.
I built Bit by Bit to meet that need by showing project tasks on a linear timeline, and presented on a dashboard that only shows the next task that needs to be complete, so that you can choose to look ahead (or behind) but it's not the default state.
